About
Hi, I'm Stefan.
I'm a Romanian developer who fell into networking long before I should have. Somewhere between fixing my parents' Wi-Fi and spinning up my first VPS, I realized I cared more about how the internet actually works than about most things on it.
Today I operate AS205941, a small autonomous system I use to learn BGP in production, run open peering, and host things I actually use - DNS resolvers, mail, a few personal services. It's my playground and my résumé at the same time.
On the software side I build with TypeScript, React, and Go. I like honest tools that do one thing well, infrastructure that doesn't fight you at 3am, and software that respects the person running it. I have a soft spot for self-hosting, end-to-end encryption, and shipping things that don't need a privacy policy.
Outside of code I'm still in school, balancing classes with freelance work and far too many side projects. If something here looks interesting, I'd love to hear from you.
